Title: Noose tightening around Iran via Syria & Yemen?

While I tend to think this is just more preemptive growling by the emaciated Russian bear to protect his food bowl (cash flowing in for its nuclear expertise etc) it does seem to me to be logical to think in terms of getting at Iran via Syria (more so than Yemen) so I would like to think we are wise enough to move in that direction, but I doubt anything serious along these lines ever gets out of the planning/gaming stages as long as Duh Wun is in the big chair.  But we ought to be flooding the region with spooks and conducting all manner of cold war machinations if we are wanting to properly set the plate.

This next article seems to indicate that Iran clearly sees the risks of losing Syria and is stepping up its support, we should be doing all we can to undermine their efforts!

Iran is to Islamo-Fascism what Saudi Arabia is the Arab stability . The difference is how deep the pockets are .
