Developing: Insurgents Attack U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan
DEVELOPING: Insurgents are firing rockets toward the U.S. Embassy, NATO headquarters and other official buildings in Kabul, Afghanistan, where a group of attackers is holed up on the 10th floor, Fox News confirms.
ISAF and NATO attack helicopters are pummeling the building with gunfire and have attacked suspected suicide bombers making a bee-line for the embassy, a source tells Fox News.

As much as I like to blame O for everything that's wrong (because he deserves it). I believe the silly ROEs were there when Bush was there,too

They were negatively exacerbated by Duh Wun, let there be no doubt of that!
Early on in the WOT the ROE's were much as they had been for decades, and no American trooper was prevented from exercising prudent self-defense.
Many of the ROE's were kept secret, even when they started tightening down bombing missions to reduce collateral damage (a term I still find interesting when used in certain parts of the world, but that is another discussion..). This was SOP through about 2007/2008. And we had waterboarding, Gitmo, rendition and on-site intelligence interrogation in theater...then Duh Wun comes along. We went from WOT to OCO, more obsession over CD and people needing approvals up the ass before one fricken bomb, missile or shell could be launched at known bad guys and lawyers needed for interrogations and to educate troops on proper urban warfare protocols that put them more and more into harms way. Rendition is gone, waterboarding is gone, Gitmo stops receiving new guests and scum is afforded Geneva Convention protection when they don't even belong to a fricken recognized state or adhere to one single rule of war written any fricken where and I am to think its no better under Obama than it was Bush?
Ya might wanna rethink that one buddy!
