Labor Dept. Data: Only 1.75 Full-Time Private Sector Workers Per Social Security Recipient (http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/labor-dept-data-only-175-full-time-private-sector-workers-social-security-recipient)

No, government employees don't count because SS deductions from them are simply more recycled taxpayer money.

One of my daughters mentioned to my 75 year old mother that she's paying for the SocSec that mom thinks she earned.
