I'd like to ask an anti-gunner, what IS an "assault rifle". When they finish their attempt at an answer, then I'd like to ask them WHY is it an "assault rifle", and then watch their heads spin. No possible answer they could come up with could avoid a smackdown with reality.

 That's the problem they are totally disconnect to reality.There would be years of therapy needed and meds to beat the band.

Anything holding more than 1 round is an assault rifle to leftist trash!

If more people understood how many scary-looking hunting rifles meet that retarded criteria perhaps more people would think differently, but 53% of the people have bought into the demonization program implemented by libiots!

And I saw a bunch of them at the gun show last week. Odd thing, though. I wasn't tempted to buy one. I was tempted to buy more ammo.

Then there's the "high powered rifle" meme, the implication being that no mere citizen should ever be in possession of one, whatever one is. They often conflate this meme with the "assault rifle" meme. They would never be able to comprehend that grandpaw's 80 year old hunting rifle collecting dust in a closet is significantly more of a "high powered rifle" than any "assault rifle".
