Worse, they doubled down by having Jill Biden with her.
BTW...this has been a heck of a race. The last one of the season with Carl Edwards (1) and Tony Stewart (2) in a race for the season championship. The race has been stopped for rain a couple of times, stretching the time out into a night race. As I write this there are just over 40 laps left and they are under another caution for rain with Stewart in front of Edwards. I don't know who is going to come out on top but Stewart has definitely earned it (overcoming one setback after another) if he wins.

Incredible finish.
Stewart battled back from last place twice after bad luck situations.
Stewart wins the race. Edwards finishes second.
Pours down rain as soon as the race finished.
They end up tied in championship points but Stewart won more races over the season which was the tie breaker so he wins the cup.
Most exciting season finish I have ever seen.

Knowing how this administration sticks its finger in the eye of middle-America every chance it gets, it doesn't surprise me that they would coordinate this situation in order to illicit just the reaction they got. They wanted situation where they could decry the racism and hate of Tea Party America by way of NASCAR, so it served their purpose to put the First Gorilla in a position to be booed - as they most certainly must have known she would be.

Pre-race interview with Michelle and Jill...
They were asked who they were pulling for (between Edwards and Stewart) and neither one would take a position. That's just stupid. They could easily have been coached on what to say and each could have picked one or the other but instead they both said that they were "neutral" on who they wanted to win. It was just stupid. I mean, why bother even going? Why bother doing the interview?

I'm glad Tony won, he needed that 3rd championship to be assured hall of fame consideration, and I enjoyed the two twits failing utterly.

Did they watch the race? Betting they slithered away.

Sounds like a good day at the track no matter who won

So there was a wide-trac Pontiac at this race eh? Any on the track?
