Russia is dealing with two clients who are competitors
in the same region one a defender the other the aggressor.
Who would think the Russians would play favorites?
Regretful for the Indians but this might help postpone them
seeking further alliance allowing us time to elect new leadership.

My thoughts exactly SH, but I doubt at this point India can just walk away...but a prime opportunity exists for a new POTUS with wisedom!  The odds however may be better weighted to the former than the latter I fear...

"A growing number of Indians want more Western weapons."
They tried to buy Raptors from us and Bambi offered JTFs.

The ship yard promises to fix the faulty work within five months, and not tear the engine room apart or have to open the hull to do it.
                                                                         ::facepalm::

"In all other respects the ship appears to be in working order. "
                                                                            How about the catapult?

They finally got the carrier delivered, only to be hosed by missing SAM system, now a joint effort with Israel is underway to remedy that.

Then they still have to have all the moving pieces working together - systems and personnel, and see if they have a functioning carrier.

What an ordeal...pass on the "Made in Russia" label!
