8K, isn't that equal to the total number sold to date?

 I guess Gov't Motors needs to re volt the Volt.

Not that I care, but i'd like to see the current "protection" of the battery compartment and what will be done to fortify it. Maybe a titanium case. Or how about an elaborate fire extinguising system....... What I'd do is take out the batteries anf install a v8......but that's me.
