DEBT LIMIT - A GUIDE TO AMERICAN FEDERAL DEBT MADE EASY. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li0no7O9zmE#ws)
Had a friend who tried a variant of this argument on a liberal relation of his ( and I hope he doesn't mind this anonymous retelling) . She responded that the analogy was false, because the Fed gets its income from a different place than a household, because its collected from within. Yes, the analogy is false because there is no "outside" from which the government gets its income. It comes from inside- like you were charging your kids rent. I am not making this up. Translation: citizens are children, the government owns and is entitledto all of their income because its citizens are slaves, and because it is so kind and benevolent it gives them allowances to spend, and that is why the debt doesn't matter. This liberal then suggested that unless we find another country to adopt us and pay our bills, the whole anaolgy would continue to be false. Can anyone here name a country that has adopted us? (http://politicalcalculations.blogspot.com/2011/12/winter-2011-edition-who-owns-us.html) -- lots to choose from.

I believe that this is part of the leftist catechism - that all good (indeed life itself) comes from the state. So they are child-like and dependent. And more than a little self-loathing.

Mark my words...adult orphanages. It's the answer.

In a pinch (if not done in spirit already) many of these "adoptees" can be denied repayment...SocSec, Fed, retirement funds and certain individuals...the "nations" being the hardest to stiff (although we try like hell by printing dollars! But that stiff's everyone!) as things like that could start shooting wars.
"Adult orphanages", heh, good one MichelleO!
Nice chart Pan, wonder how many people in our great nation can a) read it, b) understand it, and c) apply it?

That chart is going to be printed and posted on 3x5 cards
and postits too if I can figure out how to print them.
Maybe with that "How's that Hope & Change" working for you?

I don't know if you caught it, but it shows up briefly in the 'tube Weisshaupt posted, near the end.
