Post by: Libertas on March 16, 2011, 08:13:27 AM
Food jumps...but forget what this moronic article writer says about inflation...pulling food & energy out may be useful for pointy heads in the Fed, but for Mr & Mrs Everyday American, there is inflation!

On the housing front, worst starts in 27 years!  As we've commented plenty, the bottom has not been reached yet!

Food and energy, two of the most basic necessities after shelter, and they're excluded from inflation calculations?  Yeah, I'll just bet that's "useful" for the Fed, alright.

I wanted to make BLTs for dinner a couple nights ago, so I went to the grocery store to get a couple ingredients.

2 lbs of bacon was $11.49.

This comes from the same idiots who derided the Reagan Administration for referring to ketchup as a vegetable but placed peanut butter in the meat group . In the end they just feed us bull-sh*t anyway .
