Until something gets changed, people need to wise up and be on their guard in these situations.  I'm not blaming the girl for her fate; I am saying that, thanks to the media cover-up, many people have no idea how little it takes to incite a "random" attack.

The system is not designed to protect you, only you can protect yourself, and we should do so proactively.
