Not stealthy like the F-22 but they are trying to get close to its manueverability, but getting their Indian partners to agree to the design specs and problems with engines and electronics are cropping up...if it ever gets sorted out it may be the second best plane in the world.

Aye. And it will take a lot longer to get squadrons operational.
But to be fair to the Indians they really have no friend in America, and Europe doesn't seem up to the task to provide anything they want as they themselves are tied into the JSF program. What a wasted opportunity! An Indian ally countering ChiCom expansion would be an enormous boon for both. And even if we survive to see O'Bongo replaced by something less disgusting...well...little will change, the points are all moot...
