Pretty impressive.  I bet when the flash from the blast lit up everything people probably thought they were under nuclear attack.

Meanwhile, we are tracking the path of astroid 2012 DA14 that NASA assures us will not come only closer than 17,000 miles at 2:25 p.m. EST today.

Not sure how nimble geo-synch satellites are in dodging space-bourne objects, expect we'll find out.

As someone else said, notice how they keep eating driving while the SMOD flies overhead.  Dinosaurs in cars.
