Title: River of dead pigs

Not really a natural disaster, this is a man-made one, and that it occurs in the People's Paradise of China one must put the emphasis on man-made!

Far as I can tell dead pigs in a river is not in Revelations, disease that can spawn from it though, unfortunately, that is.   ::speechless::

I could not discern how the dead pigs are gettting into the river?  This is a very strange story. Pigs dying from the cold? Are Chinese farmers dumping them?

The one link made it sound intentional.

Perhaps The Party was not offering a good price to the farmer, who then said "Puck it" and chucked 'em in.
