Title: Police Departments Beg And Barter For Ammo
Post by: Pandora on March 22, 2013, 12:55:13 PM
Police Chief Cameron Arthur of Jenks, Oklahoma says, "Ammunition and assault weapons in general have skyrocketed...In addition to the fact, not only is it a lot more expensive, but the time to get it could be six months to a year, or in some cases even longer." (http://cnsnews.com/blog/gregory-gwyn-williams-jr/police-departments-beg-and-barter-ammo-while-dhs-buys-16-billion)

Well, Chief, welcome to our world.  And I can't say I'm sorry for your troubles .......

This is good news potentially.  If DHS sits on all of that Ammo and deprives police depts of it, its not creating good will. Of course, this may be how DHS plans to bribe the police depts into doing as they say.  Don't go along? Well then you obviously can't maintain law and order in your county.  I guess we need to send in a Squad of DHS agents to "help" you.  This is going to end in war.

I believe it's good as well.  It's an opportunity for the local cops to be re-taught just who they work for.  With DHS goons on site the choice between falling under their thumbs and/or standing with their fellow citizens would be made starkly clear to them.  And to us.

Sympathetic, I am not!
Not even concerned.
They'll be no help to us, anyway, in the event. Indeed, they'll likely be tasked with disarming us. With a shortage, perhaps they'll circle their wagons and leave us alone to deal with the frees sh*t army.

I am totally unconcerned with law enforcement's little problem in this particular area. Now, I might be sympathetic and loan them some of mine if and only if they come out against gun control legislation. Plus maybe give me a badge. That would be cool.

There will be pockets of "good guy cops", God bless them.
By and large they are enforcers, collectors and body guards of the PTB, they know it and we should too.
