I saw that the other day. The guy's pretty good, but I think there was some luck involved. Did you see how fast he put the gun down and walked away?

That was awesome.

I've done stuff like that throwing darts or shooting pool.  Once you make that incredible throw or shot it is best to stop playing and let everyone around you think you are a god.

That was incredible....

Over the last few weeks, my son and I have been "competing" with the 22, using small bottles ( empty energy drinks, like 5 hour energy) at around 30 - 40 yards, and I find it difficult to hit those in an upright position. I don't think I could hold that Barrett upright...lol

If you are ever in Murfreesboro Tn, go to the armory outpost ( I've been told the owner is Mr Barrett of sniper rifle fame) and they have over 50 sniper rifles. I don't know the names of each, but some of them are flat out LARGE and cool to study.

Luck, perfect conditions or whatever, that's pretty good.

My brother was a semi-pro pool player. Read: hustler. He wasn't flashy, just rock solid and very understated. He could do the cool shots and often did when he and I would go out to play. but he was a classic sand-bagger who would convince people that he was a flash in the pan playing waaaay above his grade.....and then he would clean up.

He was also a crack shot - when he wasn't strung out.

I've taken my share of $$'s from suckers who talked big.  For a while when I was in the AF I would not join my buddies bars pool team because I didn't want any of the loudmouth locals to know I was as good as I was.  When I did eventually join the team they accused me of cheating them and tried to have me barred, but I never iniated any of the bets that were usually forced on me I just enjoyed taking their money, and the local rules committee knew the guys that cried the most had the biggest ego bruises and thought that they deserved them.  I was welcomed into the league with open arms.  Actually took a state championship with an all-star team from town.  Those were the days.

I agree...even a lucky shot has to have some expertise behind it to even have a possibility of pulling off a miracle, so...lucky or not, still pretty dang good!   ::thumbsup::

I am probably shootin' with you guys!  And that's OK with me!   ::thumbsup::
