Title: Cumulus Dropping Rush & Hannity?
Post by: Libertas on July 29, 2013, 07:43:15 AM
Frankly, dropping Hannity cannt be compared in magnitude to dropping Rush...I half hope they do...I think their ratings and revenue would hit the sh*tter.  And Rush will find more outlets for his show, Hannity would be hurt by this way much more than Rush.

Oh, and Eric Boehlert is a cocksucking idiot...his comment is proof of that.

I think big money entertainment is in the beginnings of a collapse.  Yes, Rush is part of that.  There's only so much money a radio station can make with penis growth pills and real estate flipping ads.

Drudge has been headlining Hollywood bomb after Hollywood bomb.  Pro sports only exists now, due to taxpayer dollars.  It's all one giant balloon ready to pop.

XM Radio is having its issues as well.  Of the two channels which feature conservatives, one has been moved repeatedly and is going dark at the end of August.  Unless some arrangement is made to move the shows on it to other channels, that will be the end of them on XM.

For the little time I have Sirius/XM in my truck, I only listened to Bluegrass music (something I can't get locally). I found Fox News, but couldn't stand to listen to it continually. What's the other conservative station?

125 has Beck in the a.m., Andrew Wilkow on at noon, Hannity from 3 to 6, and Mark Levin comes on at 6.  I don't listen much after 7:30 p.m., so I don't know who else is scheduled.

244 is the one that's going dark at the end of August.

There's more sports-talk than almost anything else.

What is so hilarious about all this is morons like Boehlert make this out to be about ideology and not economics. (Limbaugh Dropped after Calling Sandra Fluke a Slut!"

No, this is brinksmanship in the media wars. It's is always fundamentally about the Benjamins.

And Sandra Fluke is a slut.
