Title: No-Knock raids up 3,000% over past decade

It's time to face the fact that we are not "becoming" a police state, we already are one. The most blatant example of that is the preponderance of goon squads in every police department in the country, from the biggest metropolitan department to the tiniest backwater. The whole concept is absolutely hostile to liberty. So naturally it's on a dramatic upswing, like everything else anti-liberty.

The most galling aspect of these no-knock raids is when they don't even go to the right place. Innocent people have been murdered by these jackbooted thugs raiding the wrong house, and you damn well know if one of these people attempted to defend themselves from an unknown, armed, masked intruder they would be the ones destroyed by the system.

This is just unbelievable. I believe it, but it is so far outside anything I ever thought we'd face as Americans, I can scarcely believe it.

I'm guessing these departments also have to justify the cost of having swat teams by using them.

I'm also guessing we need violent criminals to justify the money spent on SWAT teams.

What we need is a pro-violent crime growth initiative in this country!

Oh wait...we have Obamanomics...never mind.
