Title: Weather, weather, wherefore art thou?
Post by: oldcoastie6468 on October 30, 2013, 08:47:37 PM
It is raining like hell here. Torrential downpour, lightning, thunder, gusty winds. I hope the trees don't start coming down; they still have most of their leaves. ::speechless::   ::confused::

I knew that but couldn't find it. No one ever accused me of being smart.

Anyway, we had 2.25" in 2 hours last night, and this morning the total is 3.25", and it's still raining.

All the weather forecasts said an inch might fall.  :o  ::thinking::

Another inch this morning in the last 3 hours, for a total 0f 4.25 inches. And raining cats, dogs, and horses again.

Maybe I should start building that ark.

Eh, I'm not impressed.  6.5" at my house, a couple of months ago, in just 3 hours.

It was a great way to break in the new La Crosse Weather Station.  Not so hot finding out my basement walls aren't waterproof.
