Jackson Subject of Gay Harassment Complaint

http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/jackson-push-bennett-lawsuit-119861339.html

Quote
Bennett, 55, claims Jackson ridiculed him in front of other employees and required him to perform "humiliating tasks" like escorting women to Jackson's various hotel rooms, cleaning up after alleged trysts and packing his clothing.  It also includes a allegation that Jackson may have asked for oral sex.

Of course, it's only an allegation.

Yeah but with the seriousness of the charge, we can't ignore it. :)

Awwww somebody is just using the legal system to extort some money out of a 501(c)(3) tax exempt corporation. (You know, just like Rainbow/PUSH did all those years against those pussy corporations who ponied up the benjamins . . .)

Speaking of serious charges...

Man Mangum accused of stabbing dies

You remember the Duke Lacrosse case, right?

A media fulfilling just the bare minimum of its mandate would make sure to mention this murder and the vehement support of the murderer and race demagoguery surrounding her false accusation by Jackson and Sharpton.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Heh.  You're a funny guy.

If the media had fulfilled just the bare minimum of its mandate, Obama wouldn't have stood a chance of being elected.

I liked the headline that Ace put to this:

[blockquote]Duke Fake-Rape Accuser Crystal Gayle Mangum Silences Her Critics By Swimming Over A Mile To Rescue a Drowning Child
—Ace

Ah, no, I'm just kidding again. She killed a guy.[/blockquote]

And if there were any justice in the world Jesse Jackson would hook up with her.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

You'd think that guys like Jackson , Sharpton and Cosby would have learned their lesson after this bitch and Tawanda Brawley .

Cosby did learn.  When the Tawana Brawley story first came out, it tugged at everyone's heartstrings, including Cosby's.  But as the story unfolded, or rather fell apart, he quickly and quietly backed away from it.  Cosby's taken quite a bit of heat from the black community for going off the plantation and stating very plainly that blacks have problems within their communities, and those problems aren't whites or racism or any other such nonsense.  IIRC, two of the problems within the black community Cosby identified were the lack of respect for education, for thinking that educational achievement was 'too white', and the fact that black men have to take more responsibility and quit being 'baby daddy' with multiple women, that is, marriage needs to make a comeback within the black community and child rearing needs to become a focal point in black parents' lives.  I have a tremendous amount of respect for Bill Cosby for telling it like it is.

I am a 'follower' of Mr. Jackson so I will do the same thing he does to other people accused of bad bahevior and deny him due process and condemn him for his insensitivity and boorish behavior before we know all the facts.  In fact, I demand that he not only apologize but I feel he should be fired from his job...oh wait....he dopesn't have a job, and never has had one...

The big problem with your statement is that he "quietly backed away from it".  Instead he should have voiced his protest loud and clear, often, and continually over that bogus case.  Since he quietly stepped into the shadows and allowed the story to pick up speed without being discredited, he added to the voice and momentum of it.

Cosby was not 'out front' in his support of Brawley like Mike Tyson or Reverend Al the Kiddie's Pal were; remember Brawley was a 15-16 year-old girl at the time.  Personally, I'm glad Cosby got out of the way without fanfare.  He then allowed the justice system to work.  Oh sure, he could have commented on the case, but based upon what evidence?  He'd have been no better than Constitutional Law Perfessor Jugears McF*ckstick commenting on the Cambridge police acting stupidly, even though Jugears knew nothing about the case (except for what he heard).  I think Cosby did the right thing.  That he's caught flak from the black community for calling them out is even more of a plus in my book.  YMMV.
