You would think that, after what happened with Chick-Fil-A restaurants, they might have a clue as to what to do and what not to do as regards their Christian customers but apparently not.

Yah, you'd think, but Dan's right; for some reason, they never learn. 

The Barilla Pasta CEO did something equally stoopey, if you remember:  stated his position as using only families in their ads, then back-pedaled as soon as the weirdos started screeching.  If they can't stand by their statements, better they say nothing than swing first one way, then another, because, in the end, it pisses everybody off.

Other Networks Circle Like Sharks; If A&E Passes, We're In!

"Duck Dynasty" will NOT go homeless if A&E decides to pull the plug ... TMZ has learned, at least two other networks are salivating at the chance to pick up the popular reality show.

The owner of the popular Christian-affiliated Hunt Channel -- a guy named Merrill Sport -- tells TMZ, he'd pick up DD in a heart beat ... and would beam the show straight to its most loyal viewers: sportsmen and Christians.

He says, "We believe in the 2nd amendment and freedom of speech ... A&E needs to put on their big boy pants, and if they don't like the programming, they need to either let [DD] go or shut up and pay them."

Sports adds, "A&E is too scripted. [Hunt Channel] would let the personalities flow."

Rusty Faulk, CEO of the outdoorsy Pursuit Channel agrees, telling us Pursuit is 100% interested in grabbing DD if A&E takes a pass. Rusty adds, "We don't censor our personalities."

Even if DD comes to an end on A&E, we're told its contract with the family provides they couldn't do another show for a certain period of time.

After Morgan said about Duck Dynasty‘s Phil Robertson via Twitter Thursday, “[T]he 1st Amendment shouldn’t protect vile bigots,” Daniels scolded the arrogant Brit Friday with a series of tweets that began, “Piers Morgan why don’t you go back to England and straighten it out before you try to change the United States of America”:

I cannot help but respond that you missed one....and I offer the following correction:
Anyway, this just goes to the point that there is no avoiding the culture war; you will be made to tolerate. And then you will be made to celebrate. AND THEN YOU WILL BE MADE TO PARTICIPATE. And if you don’t, you’re the enemy.

This has been done in other issues, clothing, alcohol, premarital-sex, drugs, etc.....the pressure is immense and you are considered the enemy if you do not participate.

First, Bob Hope, touring the world in the year or so after the passage of the 1975 Consenting Adult Sex Bill:

“I’ve just flown in from California, where they’ve made homosexuality legal. I thought I’d get out before they make it compulsory.”

For Hope, this was an oddly profound gag, discerning even at the dawn of the Age of Tolerance that there was something inherently coercive about the enterprise. Soon it would be insufficient merely to be “tolerant” — warily accepting, blithely indifferent, mildly amused, tepidly supportive, according to taste. The forces of “tolerance” would become intolerant of anything less than full-blown celebratory approval.

So, if I don't like how a woman, or a black, or a Muslim, or Homosexual behaves I can just fire them? I can refuse them service? Tell that to the people who have been sued because they tried to make a pariah of a Lefty protected class. If it weren't for the double standards, the left would have no standards at all. Cracker barrels home office is close to where I live. The store in my hometown was as slow as I've ever seen it. ( no not the service, the patrons)

I'm not going to visit for a while. I don't think they decided to do the right thing, I think they changed their stance because they lost business.........I'm not sure the stupidity of their mindset has changed.
