So apparently this only applies to the Church of Denmark, which is supported by Danish taxpayers. An organ of the state, basically. Another argument in favor of the Founders' wisdom of keeping the state out of the church and the church out of the state (which is different from the modern shibboleth of "separation of church and state" but that's a whole other topic).
