It gets a lot of play on our local hard rock station. It's the only station I can stand (for music, their morning show is garbage like most FM morning shows are garbage) since the other ones are stuck in hippieville or play softer crap or top 40 trash rap/hip-hop junk etc. It's not a bad song, many modern rock songs express similar sentiment. I think there is an increasing awareness (at least at the gut-level) that this crap is insane, unsustainable, etc and it is going to be expressed in different media of the day. And IIRC Nickleback is a Canadian band.
