the Merry Christmas thread
« on: December 23, 2014, 11:36:00 AM »
I have come to further delight in saying "Merry Christmas" since liberals react to it like Dracula to a cross.  So if you've seen anything particularly inspiring, amusing, or heartwarming about this Christmas post it here.

I found this, and thought it was pretty cool:

Quote

Thousands of miles separate this military couple this holiday season. However, they aren’t letting the situation ruin their Christmas cheer.

Daniel Perdue, is currently serving in Afghanistan. His wife, Christina, is living in West Chester, N.Y.  They had a great idea to celebrate Christmas.

“So she took a picture holding this sign that says Merry Christmas then mailed the sign to him, so he can take a picture as well,” WJBK-TV reports.

Christina then simply combined the photos, turning them into one, and posted the image on Facebook. It’s clear to see why the heartwarming image has since gone viral.

The photo has struck a cord with many  families who support our military or those who also have loved ones serving overseas this Christmas.

I pray for you all, that our good Lord would keep you safe, healthy, and prosperous.

Merry Christmas my good and loyal friends.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Whatever the future may bring, let us all enjoy peace and good cheer during this most wonderful time of the year!

Long way to go and a short time to get there!
“My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.

“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”

After having family over last night, and getting together with more today, I've come to realize just how much I've been Blessed.

I hope each and every one of you can experience the Blessings that have been bestowed upon me.

Merry Christmas, my friends.
