The "Sticky Note" campaign going viral .....
« on: April 28, 2011, 05:56:32 PM »

In keeping with Gas Pump Activism:

Quote
In anticipation of the screaming Leftists shouting “liar, liar!” I will note that the flyer does not provide the exact quote. Obama was referring to utility rates: “Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

However, also in the interest of full disclosure I will remind readers that after cap and trade legislation failed to pass Congress last year Obama has outrageously attempted to give the EPA authority to impose it by regulatory fiat.

I will also note that the Obama administration banned oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico –defying a court order to do so – costing the devastated Gulf States thousands of jobs. Meanwhile his EPA has continued to stifle further oil production and exploration elsewhere in the U.S.

Gas Root Activism

Quote
The Sticky Note Campaign is making deliveries in Georgia Supermarkets now.  Super-Charged with Conservative ideals REAL Americans all over the country and even an awakened Democrat or two are now participating in this grass roots initiative.  Its not a partisan issue either, no one  can afford these rising prices at the gas pump or the grocery store.

More sticky note messages, via Big Government:

The kind of gas Obama delivers is not the kind we need! NOBAMA 2012!

I want to drown in oil not debt! NOBAMA 2012!

Keep your hope. We want Freedom for a change! NOBAMA 2012!

What a great idea. Post it notes that bash Obama in grocery store aisles. I would add a final line to each one that I put out there: "itsaboutliberty.com"

I'm going to post a few tomorrow. I'll take pictures and post them here.

Brilliant.

Wish I'd thought of it.

Ain't that the truth.  They turn to disgusting behavior or violence and think they're original.

I had fun with this yesterday. I left post it notes in my local hardware store, grocery store, a restaurant. I also exchanged a few pieces of currency that included a special message. (Not saying that I wrote anything on any currency 'cause that would be unlawful...I just passed them along, see?)

I like this idea---that is if I were the sort of person who wrote on paper money   ;)

Money finds its way all over the country.

It's a traveling billboard.

Whoever wrote this knew that.

Eventually it will be confiscated and destroyed but not before going through hundreds if not thousands of hands.

I wouldn't hesitate to write stuff like this on money if it was lawful to do so. But not me. Nope. I mean, burning the US flag is legally protected free speech and all but writing political statements on money is BAD. So don't anyone out there do it, okay?

But if I see any more bills like this I might post another picture or two. For informational purposes.

I, for one, am always eager for more information. Informed citizen and all that you know.

At a gas pump was a sticker with something like, "how's that ...?".
I drove around the lot and passed back by the pump to observe a well groomed
middle aged male reading the sticker, then pull it off the pump, wad it up, and throw it in the trash.

One must be persistent.
