IRS to Taxpayers Needing Help with Taxes - Expect No Help!
« on: January 15, 2015, 06:46:39 AM »
In yet another "Fvck You!" to the American people, the Obamafascists running the IRS are telling people confused over the Dear Leaders ObamaCare law or any other tax related issue can expect poor to no help from your benevolent government masters, citing head ObamaBot IRS goon - "Commissioner John Koskinen says budget cuts are forcing the agency to reduce taxpayer services and other functions. The number of audits will decline, technology upgrades will be delayed and the agency might be forced to shut down and furlough workers for two days later this year, Koskinen said.  The IRS will no longer help low-income taxpayers fill out their returns, and tax refunds could be delayed for people who file paper returns." and this POS goes on to pre-blame the Congress for their inability to function..."In some ways the Congress appeared to be trying to do its best to keep us from being able to get operational this time."...as if the IRS was better equipped in the past to handle anything more complicated than a paperclip!  And they are especially targeting the elderly and the disabled, because like children in educational and health battles, the most vulnerable are the most exploitable for despicable lying cheats to use to advance the progressive dream of a fascist Utopia run by Progs.

The whole outfit should be razed and the tax system simplified to a postcard sized return for individuals, businesses and organizations!

We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

All is proceeding as I have forseen..  if its true anyway.  As inflation ramps the government will have a much, much harder time paying for enforcement- even as more and more people start breaking and bending the law. In the end this becomes a 3rd world system of bribes, were tax officials shake down their best targets and accept a personal bribe to make the audit "go away" - a bribe that will be much less than the amount of taxes owed. The government in turn doesn't collect as much revenue and cuts services further, till basically there is no enforcement - no rule of law.

Yup.

And, umm...I could not read that without hearing this laugh - palpatine laugh

I still say, the timing of a massive tax revolt could be devastating and bring all this to a head.

I don't think it will so much be a massive tax revolt as it will be massive number of people being unable to file taxes properly, or even to pay them at all.
I suspect as you see these "record" tax revenues  be posted that an ever larger portion of them will be "corporate taxes"  and not individual taxes.  They will just loan money to the banks, and the backs will report it as profit and give it right back ( for a cut of course. . Money Laundering isn't free)

There will be some, smaller proportion of the citizenry who will actually do a tax revolt, but I don't see a significant army of Ann Barnhardts. Less than .5% I am thinking. But how monay of those begin shooting when the IRS starts taking assets by force?  Even if they only have 5 events a year ( which will of course be labelled "extremism"  as some prepper kills one man in a 20 person SWAT team because they were trying to confiscate cows)  its going to put a serious damper on LE and Agents in the field, who don't want to be the one person shot over a cow.

Another 5% of the population   or so will just Go Galt - reduce earnings to Free Shyt army levels, get divorced and go on welfare,  sequester assets in C-Corporations,  produce more of what they consume,  remove assets from bank accounts.  I would suspect most in this category will be upper middle class, so they will be noticed and harassed - as we see is already happening.  But every dollar you take out of the banking system is $10-40 of debt they can no longer back "legally"-  so its effect is many times magnified.  Taking $100,000 out is the equivalent of hitting the bank for a million (or more) they can no longer loan. I of course fit in this category, and I am just waiting for either a pink-slip or a time when my paycheck only sustains the household-- and no longer allows prepping.

And then a larger amount - maybe 10% will just harass the IRS using legal means- simply filing on paper will cause a resource poor IRS to seize up.  Filing amended returns on paper will add to it.  If they do audit or harass you, your goal should be to waste as much of their time as possible.  Don't show them all of your receipts in one meeting. Call them up 5 times  and make the proceeding take as LONG as possible.  File a lawsuit against them and dismiss/settle  it only when it looks to go to trial.  ANYTHING that makes them waste time and resources leaves them less time to harass someone else.  They ultimate rely heavily upon voluntary compliance and it won't take a lot of people  to overwhelm them - especially in an environment where increasing number of people have to file returns, but owe no money ( made too little)  or who simply can't pay the taxes because they are bankrupt..

Almost no one is paying taxes in Greece anymore, and they have almost zero money left to enforce it.

I guess the one nice thing about making no money in 2014,  is that I don't have to file a return this year.

If you make under 10k single person,  20k couple,  you don't even have to file a return.    Did send in my obamacare exception form,  I want a paper trail when they mess that up and try to collect for not having health insurance.

File a return anyway. On paper. With a couple mistakes so you  need to file an amended form. Because every second you make them waste on you is a econd they can't use harassing and hurting someone else.

For the past ten years or so someone has consistently made a simple computational error on their return. The error always favors the tax nazis. The error has been caught in eight of ten submissions and resulted in additional paperwork, letters, notices, and finally a check averaging less than $20. (the other two years an amended return was submitted causing even more paperwork).

Despising the tax nazis the way I do I bet someone is real proud of themselves.

But I am guessing,,,,,,,,,,, taxpayer that are late on April 15 will receive no consideration.

Government:  we can be as late as we want to be.

Taxpayer:  Oh,  I am running a bit late myself,  we are good right?

Government: No,  you cannot be late,  there will be fees and fines if you are.

Taxpayer:  What if I am still waiting for an answer to a question?

Government:  You can refile for a refund in the future if you are due a refund.  But you can't be late.  Ever.   Oh,,, if you owe us more money there will be late fees as well.

Government: By the way, when and if you do get that refund, there will be no interest added.  If we determine you owe us, then you will pay us the amount plus accrued interest.  We're the Governmafia!
