Gangsta culture.  Cultural rot, through and through.  And gosh, what great American, what compassionate leader and his minions in the early 60's did all they could to pacify this community and create the dependence that helped breed such cultural decay?  LBJ?  Democrats?  The Great Society?  Any of this ring a bell?

But, these people may be beyond salvage, they've lost all self-respect, they think and act more like a hive-mind than individuals capable of rational thought, so it more than likely a new generation is going to have to abandon the old...and the old will have the die off.

These people willingly entered the Progressive Plantation and became its wards, good luck trying to get them to see let alone admit their mistake.

What Libertas said.  And at the most general level, the answer to the question "when did these people turn into these people?" is when they decided to stop trying to use the baseline culture (i.e. White America) as a model for themselves, and instead went off on tangents of ethnic nationalism, afrocentrism, etc, etc.
