I'm proud of my Navy and their role in taking this evil bastard down.  It is the soldiers, sailors, flyboys and marines that deserve to celebrate and we should celebrate them for all they have done for us!  Politicians who have done nothing deserve no thanks, they have not done all that they could do to assist our service members.  This is a military victory, not a political victory, period!

First off, regarding my wager on the Obama/Osama name confusion in the media, I have been up for an hour and have already stumbled across my first one...

I found an extremely ironic tidbit this morning.

Fox News reported this morning that the intelligence lead that resulted in Osama Bin Laden's death came from Camp Gitmo. And furthermore, it came from a recipient of the waterboarding technique.

Ahem.

Let that sink in.

Abu Faraq al Libbi, who lived in Abbotabad and KSM who was waterboarded gave the name of the courier and his brother that were considered the only couriers that OBL trusted. Once put under surveillance, this trail brought the Navy Seals to Osama Bin Laden's bedroom.

Checkmate.

One possibility that has been pondered for years is that when OBL is finally killed, will that trigger planned actions by cells around the world.

The liberals again demonstrate their inconsistency and hypocrisy by lauding their President and making snide comments like "he did what Bush couldn't do in 7.5 years!" If Bush had launched a ground operation deep inside Pakistan, we'd be hearing about this being his Cambodia and Laos escalation, he violated the sovereignty of Pakistan, and so on.

Looks like Obama's foot soldiers already had the memo last night:

If it turns out that Abu Faraq al Libbi coughed up his intel during a waterboarding session, it will just piss all over the Leftist narrative. Thus I would look for an effort to avoid that information being revealed.

I just corrected my above post. Fox claimed KSM did also provide the name of the courier, but I have only found evidence that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, Abu Zubayda and Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri were waterboarded, although al Libbi did experience enhanced interogation techniques, it may come to light that he got the trickle down treatment as well.
