There's an even better way to go than Firehouse (although Firehouse is good): I go to the supermarket deli, buy a pound of medium-rare roast beast, sliced thin; a pound of whatever cheese we fancy -- cheddar/American/Swiss/etc. -- a head of lettuce; a couple-three-four-five torpedo or hard rolls, and a trip to the garden since the 'maters are coming in and
VOILA!
With either mayo/mustard/oil & vinegar and whatthehellever else ya wants on ya sammich, there's enough for three-four days.
