The ensemble cast of the Dick Van Dyke Show is one of my all-time favs. Rose Marie’s edgy character Sally was ahead of her time.
RIP

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Sad news. She had a recent Twitter drive earlier this year to ramp up her following - & I jumped on the bandwagon because...well who wouldn't follow Rose Marie? One tough cookie.
Rest in Piece, "Sally"!

No wonder she was fesity, she got that hot Italian blood.
Funny too. Not many people remember the old Hollywood Squares, I thought that show was a riot...a lot of those folks would struggle trying to keep things "clean"...snickers and belly-laughs galore. Rose had a hearty laugh too.
