Have a blessed Christmas Day everyone.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Christmas Eve with the folks was good.  My mother in a better mood, the new home and steady meds no doubt helping...but she seemed truly appreciative and moved by the festivities and attention.  Today is relaxing and enjoying the day...stepping out for stogie in a bit and will sport my Santa hat as is my custom this time of year...

 :D

Saw this post...I like happy thoughts going into a new year, especially after all the terrorism the demosocialisti have been running for 4 fricken years...frankly the way I see it I cannot lose, either things go the way this guy sees it and it is just an endless series of butthurt for our enemies or the demoterrorist/DeepState scheming succeeds and we settle this the good 'ol fashioned Patriotic Way.

Ho Ho Ho!

Kids and grandkids last night.

Quite and relaxing today.

Hope everyone continues to count their blessings and remember the reason for the season.

We spent Christmas Eve with John and Nan and my former lifting buddy and today, Christmas, we cooked a roast beast and just chilled.

It's been a great Christmas, hope it was the same for y'all and sorry I was late checking into the party here.

Sorry, I'm late too, Merry Christmas to all!  Wife and I had a quiet Christmas, Prime Rib for Dinner and cuddled in front of the fireplace (electric of course) till we fell asleep.

Yep; late here also.  Spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with daughter and grand kids.  Typically crazy.  On Monday daughter brought us our anniversary gift {58-years} a new big screen TV.  Nothing was wrong with the old 39", but this one is a 'smart' TV - [ to bad every program on it isn't'].  Now all I have to do is get smart enough to operate it -- oh well.  Had to get home late Christmas night since today at 9:00 AM a crew was coming to paint the outside of the house and tomorrow another group to put in new front door and side lights - plus the painters return to finish.  Between all that on the 24th it was my sons 53rd birthday.  Can't wait for Saturday - PEACE and QUITE.   I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas.
