Never having been a parent, I can only say, from observation, every kid comes with his own innate programming, so it ain't your plan that counts -- although you do your best -- it's God's plan.

I have to admit, I kept my standards low. As long as they stayed away from drugs and prison, I was happy. ::hysterical::

They far exceeded my expectations. Evidently my lovely bride did an excellent job at parenting. As the father figure, my plan was to teach them all of their bad habits.

I'm now using the same technique with the grandkids. ::thumbsup::

As the father uncle figure, my plan was is to teach them all of their bad habits...and how to best enjoy life.
