Had to go to the bank today, so I drove around my little town just to check things out. Contingent of 50 (?) protesters, more than half of them White mind you, standing on the freakin' traffic circle, holding their BLM, I Can't Breathe, etc. signs. I gave 'em the finger; they started loudly chanting "I can't breathe". Dupes, all of them, particularly the Whites.
Stopped at the drugstore to see if my refill was ready. Stepping up to the counter, I instinctively avoided the plexiglas panel; I see it as an obstacle. Masked clerk behind the desk ordered me in front of the panel. Another dupe.
So, let me ask this question: if her mask is protection, how am I endangering her by being closer than six feet and/or not behind the panel? If I am behind the panel, then why does she need a mask?
Had to shut off the radio; some Black chick on David Webb's show is advocating the view that Black people see White people caring more about businesses and the economy than the deaths of Black men such as George Floyd. Beck is trilling on about some Texas sheriff who proudly took off his gear and marched with the 'peaceful protesters' in support of blahblahblah.
If I don't stay home for the next couple weeks, I'm gonna get myself in trouble.
