And it reminded me that my great-great grandfather (maternal) was from Cuba; last name DeSilva -- which makes me 12.5% Latino . . .

I've pissed off my DIL (proud of her 1/4 mexican heritage ::laughonfloor::)  by bringing to her attention that mexican and latino are NOT races. Western European makes you white. Period.

I'm 12.5% Cuban/Latino (great grandfather, maternal side, was born in Cuba).
