Whether the mobs at large care about Paul Revere or what he stood for doesn't matter to me....he is one of many  examples that I've passed along to my kids and my grandchildren. It's why I'll never give away another book especially a history book...even if they're just  flickering ideas once more, the ideas of the founding fathers are worth handing on until once more they are appreciated....by someone, somewhere....

Amen!  Most of the books I hope to preserve are early American history and especially the Revolutionary period and our Founders.  They got most things spot on...it is the corrupt and immoral that ruined what had been working...just as the Founders warned us.
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.
