I think the magic word is efficacy, the Phitzer and Moderna have an alleged 90% efficacy (meaning 10 out 100 that get the shot
do not gain immunity).  What's new?  the standard annual flu shot over the past 10 years has had a between 39% to 55% efficacy.
The original Salk Vaccine had an efficacy rating of 90%, that was a dead virus vaccine.  I was a Polio Pioneer, got the real thing during the 1954 trials.

Is any of them getting it bad?  That's supposed to be another sell of the vaccine in that it ixnays the bad cases.

My father's workplace had no cases before. They ended up organizing a mass pfizer vaccination for his workplace. They split people up into four lines and didn't allow cellphones during the shot. Within a week, they had 50ish cases at his work and everyone was sent home for 2 weeks (so far). I will keep this shedding stuff in mind and see if my mother starts having any symptoms while in proximity to him.
