James Madison made sure states have the duty to protect themselves from"invasion" - “[t]he United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion…”Article IV, Section 4
ALSO, if TeamFraud argues illegals do not meet their definition of an "invasion" to legitimize their "do nothing/make it worse" schemes...then they are surrendering responsibility to the states as well as LYING to citizens about what they really want to do.

At present the United States (plural!) is in breach of contract, thus the 10th Amendment by default MUST pick up the slack. Otherwise the Constitution is inoperative and then nobody has any standing beyond what they seize, hold and defend.
