Two Men Enter. One Man Leaves
« on: June 14, 2011, 09:35:15 AM »

Mexicohas now offically entered Mad Max territory.  You want to see what a failed state looks like in the modern world (and what we might eventually see in the Blue States and maybe Red States as they fail) this is it:

You can now visit the Thunderdome

Two Men Enter One Man Leaves

And custom built armored trucks are now all the rage

The reason I do not vacation in Mexico anymore....Or for that matter, blue states.

Yup. Our preferred destnaton for years was Vallarta. Love that town. But I won't put my family in potential harms way any longer.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

All I have to do is go down Lake street, it is as close to Mexico as you can get without leaving, and (for now) a lot less violent!
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.
