It is sane, principled, honest and courageous leaders like this that should be our generals and admirals....

...instead we have the unsane, unprincipled, dissembling gutless snakes that sack anybody exhibiting true leadership ability.  This is all the proof one should need that the military has currently led cannot be trusted and will only degenerate more and more until it fractures and melts away...

Lt.Col. follow up at top of link above...resigning and cutting off all ties after 17 years.  I sympathize with his frustration at the lack of accountability...but that is who these REMF's are, they are pure REMF's, beyond useless...they are destructive to anything positive, sane, principled and courageous.  He feels betrayed, he feels all his comrades are betrayed...and he is correct...we've all been betrayed.

Never thought I would live to see such despicableness across the board - societal, political, institutional...and never would I have thought to see such degeneration in the military...

I imagine many Romans alive during the height of Empire and alive when degeneracy set in felt much the same...

The Rubicon to oblivion has been breached and the end is certain...

The time has come for the good to detach from evil...time for the corrupted engine of the world to stop...
