JoeFraud does not deserve credit for releasing anything new, but this is an American mistake that should not have been made. Certainly it was anticipated that Saudi cooperation was to be needed if AQ and its allies were to be rooted out and subsequent actions may have been difficult (but not impossible) without Saudi cooperation and access to their territory. But we did not adequately hold them accountable, not publicly. Their playing all fields wasy should not have been allowed. This is a mistake worth reconciling and it doesn't require blaming the innocent.
