Its a very expensive carnival ride.  When they orbit and de-orbit then they have accomplished something
This is just very advanced, very large model rocketry.

Yeah, they're not doing orbital yet...need to plan that a little better and work on materials and back up system more...

Not bad, but still not equal to Freedom 7, w/Allen Shepherd.  I believe Shepherd's time was 15 minutes, and he reached an
altitude of 116 miles. I assume Capt. Kirk didn't have to pee in his suit.  lol

Yeah, same age as my father...and people have said throughout his life he doesn't look as old as he is...and they still do...but Bill gets around a lot better than my father and doesn't seem as generally diminished as many get.
