Bob Dole, 98
« on: December 06, 2021, 08:51:55 AM »
“It is with heavy hearts we announce that Senator Robert Joseph Dole died early this morning in his sleep. At his death, at age 98, he had served the United States of America faithfully for 79 years. More information coming soon,” the Elizabeth Dole Foundation announced on Twitter.

Bob Dole served as majority leader in the Senate as well as a the chairman of the RNC and Republican presidential candidate.  Dole was a feature of DC politics for several decades, and one of the few old school Republican Party officials who embraced Donald Trump as a candidate and president.

We all know his biography, his wounds suffered in Italy with the 10th Mountain Division and all that followed.  Bottom line - Bob was a good and decent man...but as political opponents began to go harder left and the sane driven from their midst these very virtues began to be abused by his friends on the other side...aided by the DecptiCons that began to arise within the GOP.  Bob kept his virtues in a world gone mad that was populated with people with no redeeming qualities and only an unquenchable lust for power and wealth.

R.I.P.
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.
