Mpls weather. Thunder. lightening, rain. 34 deg F now. Rain is good for melting snow. Some snow forecast but followed by above freezing days. Freezing nights.

I saw on a map this morning where the TC area got around 3" of total precipitation yesterday.  That and what, 10-20" of snow on the ground state wide, is so going to nail us in Iowa in the coming weeks as it quickly melts.

Here, just tornados.  My specific area threaded the needle between two major storm lines but Johnson County got nailed.  Solon, Hills, and specifically Coralville in the business area, where I shop one a month.

Very, very windy here right now.  "Gusts up to 60mph" the weather-weenies are saying.

Unlike McCaffrey's men's team, who I don't think have made a single Sweet 16, no matter how good they've been, the women's team sure is peaking at the right moment.  SC was unbeaten and an 11 point favorite.

I'm not sure what the official numbers are. It looks like about 5 inches of very wet snow and local sidewalks are not plowed, which is unusual. I got totally plowed in.

At the lake, tons of gusting wind, rain, sleet then gigantic snowflakes...the drift on the lake side is almost as high as the gutters on the house...Saturday some melting late...Sunday lots of melting...bit there is a sh*t ton of snow!

Kinda fed up with winter, it may now depart with haste!

It's been a rough start of Spring...

Haven't seen the official assignments yet but by the damage several had to have been to the upper part of the EF scale.

The one near Ottumwa was an F-4.  And the most insane storm chasing footage I've ever seen chasing that.

Had to laugh my  ::mooning:: off yesterday. Watching 5 news(all tornados all the time) and they went ape sh*t over thunderstorms and "maybe" tornados over my locale. A little wind, some rain, one did touch down in Del. but the zombie wasn't there. The station is actually pretty good, watched what occurred in Todds area live.

Ha, Monkey calls him flash-bang...

Surprised the storms didn't respect the NOTAM restriction over FB Del Diaper Station 1!
