I would think this spank-down of the puppet FJB regime would jump-start things re: Berenson suit too...

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/09/09/fifth-circuit-court-of-appeals-agrees-the-biden-administration-violated-the-first-amendment-easily-affirms-lower-court-order-and-baits-biden-doj-to-appeal-to-supreme-court/

...one or the other would race to SCOTUS.  And Sundance seems a little more optimistic than I, but we shall see...

WOW.
Two examples come to mind.
Matt Taibbi testified in front of congress on the twitter files.
They were very nasty to him, this "so called journalist." (direct quote) The same day, the IRS paid an in person visit to him.

Kiev contacted the FBI and asked to have Aaron Matte of The Grayzone kicked off twitter. FBI made the request to twitter. They declined.

I had a 2021 video on. It seems that the US FBI had several Iranian websites taken down. Not sure of details.

BTW some libs like Grayzone, Jimmy Dore, and Kim Iversen are shocked at the lawfare against Trump.

What do we have in-play here?

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/09/14/joe-biden-admin-begs-supreme-court-to-let-them-control-social-media-content-alito-says-maybe/

I would like to think Alito is looking for this rogue DOJ to provide the reasoning akin to giving a criminal the option of putting the noose around their own neck...but between this and some reasonable speculation the 5th District pared down some of the lower courts injunction...count me among those nervous about this development...

It gives the court more time to consider what next steps to take before deciding whether to grant the administration’s request. In the meantime, the lower court ruling will remain on hold until midnight on Sept. 22.

Yeah, but Jim Hoft agrees the 5th Circuit "split the baby", it would be up to SCOTUS to restore the baby in full and rule one way or the other.

Bets?

Well, today arguments begin at SCOTUS for Murthy, et al v. Missouri...aka "The most Important Free Speech Case in American History"

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/showtime-gateway-pundit-supreme-court-today-oral-arguments/

Used to be even people on the left used to care deeply about the First Amendment...obviously that doesn't look true for many today...we shall see.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/03/18/supreme-court-appears-to-lean-favorably-toward-government-in-first-amendment-case-of-federal-coercion-of-social-media/

Can't show harm?  WTF?!

If a government that holds the sword of Anti-trust and Section 230 status over social media companies if they fail to heed their persuasion to stifle the the free speech of We the People isn't coercion then we do not have a Republic any longer but a totalitarian state.

These MFers better seriously understand the consequences for their decision!

Tell SCOTUS their budget will depend on their decision. Maybe they would understand govt coercion then.
