Such BS.  Watch it appear as if out of nowhere to reign terror on innocents and blamed on a white Trump supporter they have chilling on ice for such an opportunity...

What is a "mishap"? Sounds like an unexpected failure. Software?

So far the hack theory is the only thing making the most sense from all angles of this thing.

What Hollywood fancifully invented in action movies has apparently made it to reality.

I recall that the F-36 Lightning cannot fly maybe with 25 miles of lightening.

I heard that the F-35 with the 'mishap' had it right after take off.
Also, I recall that Lockheed with held tech info to create a profit center. Apparently parts also? US DOD cannot order parts directly but must us Lockheed contractors?

Now, via Dreizin, F-35s have 50% downtime not 10%.

I think this might be the link
LACK OF ACCESS TO TECHNICAL DATA???

There is something more odd going on...what about the NATO partners and other allies that got these...no reports of standdowns, no reports of parts and maintenance issues...zip, zero, nada...

Perhaps different contracts outside the US? I recall that this was contractual. In exchange for a lower plane price US DOD agreed to outsource maintenance to Lockheed. I do not know the details but was shocked.

Note the graphic says "Lack of access to technical data"  That is similar to what I read a while back. Lack of parts depots is what Dreizin highlighted.

Kinda like promising to only have car repairs done at the dealer.

Sounds a lot like Caterpillar and other vendors...

Proprietary crap...no third parties allowed...

Still, foreign users not experience/talking about anything...odd as heck...
