Ukr allegedly tried to incite some violence in Volgograd a few months ago. They allegedly offered money to some guy if he burned a Koran on video near a mosque. He did and was arrested.  Later the head warlord/president's son went into the detention center in Chechnya and beat on the guy on camera. Sad. The guy covered himself well and the punches did little harm. IMO this kid is warlord in waiting and did this for political points.

Russia has laws against sacrilege against any religion, IMO to keep the peace. The Muslims did not riot because they know the guy is going to prison.

I could not find Dagestan on a map. Putin recently visited and got a warm welcome. He was given a special edition of the Koran. he mentioned that desecrating the Koran is against the law in Russia. I did not know that.
