Then perhaps the next big vehicle for enabling corruption to thrive in government: 1) Pass a law that states officeholders (elected and appointed) are not and never will be exempt from any stature on the books 2) Ban all government employee unions 3) Enact term limits immediately 4) Ban relatives from holding offices previously held by a relative 5) Ban officeholders (elected and appointed) from using the public-private revolving door - no former employee from being in any office within 5 years of private employment and any officeholders to private employment in any capacity with any material link to the work involved in either 6) Raise the threshold for votes from simple majority to 2/3 majority for any officeholder confirmations, votes for increased spending that adds one more cent to the national debt and for any raise of the national debt ceiling 7) Pass a balanced budget amendment 8) Straight-line federal recusal statute to require all officeholders to recuse to vote, investigate, question or adjudicate any case/legislation/hearing/trial in which they have any prior association with in terms of family, friends, employment or affiliation under penalty of immediate expulsion and prosecution for non-compliance 10) Ban all officeholders from benefiting economically in any way with direct or indirect investments involving in any part of their office or through any intermediary 11) Ban with capital consequences any federal encroachment upon any citizens rights guaranteed under our Constitution 12) Repeal all unfunded mandates and encroachments upon state sovereignty and reinstitute Our Founders vision of Federal and State Republican harmony 13) Strictly regulate all media from meddling with 1st Amendment rights and strengthen laws against committing clear, documentable slander and liable and 14) Make it a capitol offence of any officeholder that fails to execute or impedes, obstructs or interferes in any way the laws of this nation or who in any way enables, funds, encourages, promotes or defends the actions of terrorist organizations, state sponsors of terrorism and active belligerents in conflict with this nation.
