Military records describe Donald Trump’s prospective Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth as an “incredibly talented, battle-proven leader.”

The records, obtained by Fox News ahead of Hegseth’s confirmation hearings this week, describe his “outstanding” leadership skills he demonstrated across his military service, which included deployments to Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, Iraq and Afghanistan.

In an officer evaluation report carried out between 2005 and 2006, Hegseth was praised for his “outstanding performance” and as an “incredibly talented, battle-proven leader.”

“Having taken charge of his platoon mere days before deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he effectively led his platoon through five months of combat,” the report read.

“He planned and executed platoon operations ranging from air assault raids to the defense of a forward operating base (FOB).”

The report also found that his “platoon remained physically fit and mentally ready to meet the challenges of protracted missions in demanding conditions.

It also found that Hegseth “more than capable to operate independently, controlling not only his squads but also air support, indirect fire support and other external combat support assets.”

And to piss off the DeepState and their puppets...if elevating someone currently already on the Committee I would go with Scott Perry (PA 10th)...if going outside the Committee for a new Chair and want to put somebody there with intelligence and fearlessness I'd go with Anna Paulina Luna (FL 13)...who is also a Freedom Caucus member.
