I remember going from Springfield Mo. to Disney World  in 1976. We stopped at a flea market in Kentucky and I could not believe how many people walking around with side arms and rifles. What happened to these folks? The best part of the trip was entering Alabama and getting my pic next to George Wallace welcoming me there. Had a pickup camper and stayed in Fort Wilderness for a week.
