"Soon the tempest enveloped the ringed planet, triggering lightning flashes thousands of times more intense than on Earth."

It's an awesome thing to contemplate when one considers the power of lightning on Earth, isn't it? Lightning strike X 1000??? Holy chit!
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Harness that energy and beam it to earth for use.

Let's start up Saturn Electric!

The problem with Saturn Electric is that it actually produces electricity.
Of course, a super good story how it will be transmitted to earth and transferred into the power grid should hook them.

Construction on the Potemkin transfer plants should be started now in order for them to be ready for the first transmission.  Initial IPO, Saturn Electric LLC.  Maybe get Algore as spokesman?
