The Undefeated
« on: July 15, 2011, 07:47:38 PM »
...premieres today, in a few locations.  None are anywhere near me, alas.

Mark Levin was just talking about it, and he's also in it.  I look forward to seeing it when it comes to my area.

We are so far past and beyond the “long train of abuses and usurpations” that the Colonists and Founders experienced and which necessitated the Revolutionary War that they aren’t even visible in the rear-view mirror.

Here's a review of the film by Ace of Spades commenter arhooley:

Quote
I talked to another viewer after I left who thought the film aimed to rally her base to get politically engaged, without edging her onto the stage in 2012. Maybe Bannon did some wishful editing or I'm doing some wishful thinking, but I saw more. In the final scenes, Sarah speaks on her book tour and at 2010 campaign venues. Her voice and words are courageous, the crowds are on fire, but I see a motivating anguish in her eyes, as if she's mindful of that horrid sludge that coated birds and beaches back in 1989. I swear she's fighting back tears at the podium as she contemplates the awful possibility that this blessed nation could fall to its enemies on the left. Surely it's too much for her to witness without offering her heart in service once again.

“The Undefeated” Roars to Big Opening Day… Theaters Sell Out From Atlanta to Orange County

Here’s a nice round-up of The Undefeated tweets put together by Josh Painter over at Texans for Sarah Palin.

Theater manager in Phoenix reports “Only Harry Potter beating ‘The Undefeated’…

Atlanta, GA ‘The Undefeated’ is Number 1 in theater out performering ‘Transformers’…

4pm showing of ‘The Undefeated’ ends with five minute standing ovation in Atlanta!

Atlanta – 7pm showing of ‘The Undefeated’ sold out 3 hours in advance!

“The #Undefeated” 4pm showing in #OrangeCounty is packed full except for the “stiff neck seats” that nobody wants ever.

The Undefeated is Number 1 in #Atlanta #GA out performing Transformers

AMC Ahwatukee theatre mgr told me they sold so many tickets for #Undefeated that they had to move it to a bigger screen!

Undefeated sold out 7:10 and 10:04 showings in Kennesaw. #1 movie in this theater tonight!

People in the theater CHEERED when they saw Palin at the tea party rally.

Kenesaw GA 3 showings sold out!!

PalinUndefeated attitude is spreading like wild fire. Watch the Dems start eating themselves

How come nobody in the MSM is RTing that @PalinUndefeated is selling out and getting standing Os?! Aren’t they “objective” RTers?!?

Full House at Universal Cineplex Orlando, FL for ‘The Undefeated’!

MSM – Where are the “empty theaters” now?

just got back from the movie. My 3 skeptics will now be a part of Sarah’s Army.

People around me are saying, “WOW” about the frivolous ethics complaints. They didn’t know.

Houston showing is almost full except for the lower 2 rows.

Audience applauding Sarah’s inaugural address in #Undefeated in Kennesaw!

Drove 8 Hours To See The #Undefeated! Very Well Made, Exhilarating & Inspirational
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Before the campaign starts, I hope she and Michele and Rick work things out in a positive way. Those three aligned together could be formidable, and if not it could be tragic.

No, I haven't forgot Herman Cain, I'm just not sure where he fits in this potential cluster; possibly in the clear.

I have to say I never thought of the three of them working together but it would be a show stopper. That would give him fits!

He's already having fits.  I want to see cardiac arrest, brain hemorrhage and aneurism.

That would be ideal, but I would settle for a meltdown on live TV.

I very badly need to see this film. This means that people in markets where it opened on the 15th of July need to go see it. It’s about market signaling, people.
The Progressive project is predicated upon the notion that the American people are sheep. The American people have behaved sheepishly; let’s be honest. And here is a leader threatening the Progressive wolves with some honest shepherdly behavior. The river of dishonest bile from the usual liars is all you need to know.
This movie constitutes a 2012 straw poll. If you ever want to see a politician exhibit courage, Sarah Palin or otherwise, go see this flick.
